Fast-Track Trainee Recruitment Consultant

London, Reading and Manchester

£18k basic rising to £20 within six months. OTE £52.4k

Initiate is the specialist sales recruiter for the technology sector - and we are recruiting - both in London and Reading, and in January 2008 in our new office in central Manchester.

With continuing success in delivering high calibre sales executives to blue-chip clients in the IT and telecoms sector, we are looking to recruit determined and extroverted graduates with 6 months B2B sales experience to join our Fast-Track Trainee Recruitment Consultant programme.

Ambition and drive are more important than previous sales experience - you will be a natural networker with excellent rapport building skills and a strong work ethic.

Your role will be to:

1. Develop a network of sales management contacts within a specific vertical market in the IT or Telecoms sector;

2. Establish headcount requirements for sales executives and sales management and;

3. Find, evaluate and introduce suitable candidates for these positions.

We will give you all the necessary training and coaching so that you can earn at least £35k in your first year. Our commission plan is the most competitive in the business, with individual monthly commission and quarterly bonuses.

Training includes database management (GoldMine), client conversations, candidate conversations, pitching, interviewing by telephone and face to face, writing job adverts and fee-negotiation; delivered in an intensive two-week classroom training period followed by desk-side mentoring.

We work from a modern air conditioned office with fantastic views over London City at London Bridge, and in March 2007 opened an office in central Reading.
