My client is a Global telecommunications provider which has built a class leading business by delivering International managed services which led to a multi billion pound turn over last year. My client has a customer base of over 7000 clients in Europe, who buy data, voice and complex managed network and hosting services from them. Their vision is to become the partner of choice for the provision of European communications solutions to the world’s leading companies. It is due to this vision that an opportunity has arisen within their Global Accounts Team. You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of MNC accounts looking to expand from SE Asia to the UK or visa versa. You will need to be a solution led ICT sales person, commodity based sales people may not apply! You will also need to have experience of handling A and/or B-end accounts together with a credible and proven track record of meeting and surpassing targets. If you possess the above experience coupled with ferocious ambition there is scope to progress into senior management within a global organisation in a relatively short space of time. We require a successful wholesale team sales manager to manage a four person sales team recruiting an additional head in Germany and Spain, this position would be in the Global IP Networks team. Your role is to strategically drive the sales team into securing long term relationships with VNOs, Carriers, ASP, MNOS, MVNOs and ISPs. You will have C level visability and access to large Mkting budgets and ownership of the recruitment budget. You will hold no sales target bar that of the sales team you will be the sales manager responsible for the motivation and hitting of sales targets.
