The company deals with both permanent and contract positions within this niche market space. Based in Great Portland street the London office is an easy distance from main tubes such as Bond Street, Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus. My client is currently looking for a trainee resourcer who has a passion for sales to join the existing team and be fast tracked up to an account management position. In order to be successful in this position you must be a self-starter who is not afraid to source new business and manage a pipeline of candidates and clients. My client is the leading distributor of IT Security and Storage the UK and Europe, supplying innovative hi-tech solutions to businesses via a network of value added resellers. They have an training-services department providing both end-user and reseller training packages, which are sold alongside the more traditional products. They currently employ 350 people in the UK and have an annual turnover of £225million. I am currently recruiting for the IT training services team, based in luxury offices in the heart of the City. A small team, working with high levels of autonomy, they enjoy close relationships with the other parts of the business. Leads are often passed across different divisions, and communication levels across all departments must remain high for those all-encompassing larger deals. The team are looking for a professional salesperson with experience in bringing onboard new accounts, as well as networking through existing accounts to maximise revenue. The role is slightly more focussed on account management than new business, though a cold-calling element definitely exists. The day-to-day duties are mostly telephone based, but with some out-of-office client meetings as necessary. My client is looking for a hungry salesperson with an extremely proactive attitude. Although a proportion of the role involves account management, an order taker is not what they are looking for. If you have the ability to hunt down additional revenue streams within existing and new accounts, you may just fit the bill. Experience of selling at both SMB and corporate level will be a distinct advantage, as will coming from a training provider background.
